One of the most important ways to support and protect children, young people and adults is to share any concerns with the Governing Body, Badminton England, by following their Policies & Procedures. Terms and Conditions

1. Code of Conduct

1.1. All members are expected to behave respectfully towards coaches, volunteers, and fellow members.

1.2. Bullying, harassment, or discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated.

1.3. Damage to property or facilities may result in charges or suspension of membership.

2. Health & Safety

2.1. All participants must inform the Academy of any medical conditions or injuries that may affect participation.

2.2. First aid will be administered where necessary, and parents/guardians will be informed immediately in case of junior injury.

2.3. The Academy is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.

​3. Photography and Media

3.1. Photographs or videos may be taken during sessions for promotional purposes.

3.2. Parental consent will be obtained for any media featuring juniors.

3.3. If you wish to opt out of media use, please notify us in writing.

4. Data Protection

4.1. All personal data is handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

4.2. Information is collected solely for Academy purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

5. Amendments

5.1. Butler Badminton Academy reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions.

5.2. Members will be notified of any significant changes. Contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding these Terms and Conditions.

6. Junior Sessions

6.1. Junior sessions are for players aged under 18.

6.2. Parents/guardians must ensure timely drop-off and pick-up of juniors.

6.3. Juniors must bring appropriate sportswear and equipment (e.g., non-marking shoes, badminton racket).

6.4. Coaches and volunteers are DBS-checked, and sessions are run following safeguarding guidelines.

6.5. Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in temporary or permanent exclusion.

6.6. Kindly note there is a £10 club joining fee for all new junior players. 

7. Adult Sessions

7.1. Adult sessions are open to players aged 18 and over.

7.2. All participants are expected to treat others with respect and good sportsmanship.

7.3. Adults participate at their own risk and are responsible for their own physical condition and health.

7.4. Kindly note there is a £10 club joining fee for all new adult players.
